Correction: The last name of Anne Worcester, chief marketing officer for Market New Haven, was misspelled in a photo caption with a story about New Haven Restaurant Week.

A story Tuesday on East Haven police overtime incorrectly attributed the following quote to Board of Police Commissioners Chairman Joe Civitello. The statement was made by Police Chief Brent Larrabee: “A lot of it was spent before I got here, and I also recognized some shortages in supervision. It also didn’t help that everybody retired, but I understand why.”

A story this week about a threat written on a bathroom stall at Cheshire High School incorrectly reported that Chief Neal Dryfe was among police present at the school Tuesday in the wake of the threat. He was not there.

A story Wednesday that ran in some Journal Register Co. publications in Connecticut on the Wesleyan Media Project incorrectly said the political ads it analyzed were limited to the top 50 markets in the country. The project looked at 210 broadcast markets across the country.

Correction: A story published Saturday on change of venue motions included a quote from a professor that implied that Steven Hayes had sought a change of venue in the Cheshire triple homicide trial. Hayes’ attorney Patrick Culligan said he did not make such a request.
