A story about a community conversation Saturday in Hamden  incorrectly identified Paul Begemann as a member of the town’s Legislative Council. He is a candidate for the council.

An earlier version of a story on the federal trial of two East Haven police officers quoted a source speaking on condition of anonymity that former Police Chief Leonard Gallo had appeared before a grand jury in the case. Gallo’s attorney, Jonathan Einhorn, said that Gallo never appeared before the grand jury. As reported in the story, Gallo has not been charged in the case.

A story in Sunday's edition of the Register incorrectly reported the name of the group that organized the Connecticut celebration of the National Day for Dignity and Respect in New Haven. The event here was organized by the Connecticut Immigrant Rights Alliance.
