Story on ACLU names wrong police department

A story that ran in the Wednesday Dec. 5 edition of the New Haven Register incorrectly named the Milford Police Department as the source of a quote in an ACLU report about how police departments in Connecticut handle calls from people who inquire abour making complaints against police officers.
The paragraph of the story was mistakenly attributed to the Milford Police Department when it should have been attributed to the Middletown Police Department, according to ctnewsjunkie.com, which wrote the story.

The quote as it should have read:

“[We would] take them into custody, call ICE [and] deport them,” someone from the Middletown department answered, in a quote the ACLU highlighted in red.
