Clarification:
 
A story about the planned shutdown of the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant paraphrased a portion of ISO-New England’s statement on the economic consequences of the closing. Although it operates the region’s wholesale power market, ISO-New England does not make projections regarding future price changes.

Patch workforce

The number of employees nationally working for the online news site Patch was incorrect in the first version of  a story published Friday. Patch, which is laying off about 500 people, employed about 1,000 people company wide, not 5,500 as reported.

Keynote speaker

Correction: The first version of  a story on a "white coat ceremony"  for the inaugural class at Quinnipiac University's Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine incorrectly identified the keynote speaker as Dr. Lisa Coplit. The keynote address was given by Dr. Jessica Israel, chief of geriatrics and palliative medicine and medical director of the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey.  Coplit is the associate dean for assessment and faculty at Quinnipiac's medical school.
