Incorrect year in 'Today in History' highlight

Thursday's "Today in History" highlight incorrectly reported the year Tennessee became the first state to be readmitted to the Union after the Civil War. The year was 1866, not 1974.

Artist's name misspelled

A earlier version of a story published Sunday on a Hamden man selling paintings by his late friend in order to help the friend's widow misspelled artist Peter Lanouette’s last name. Also, the correct phone number for Don Werner is 203-848-4537.

Not an alder yet

A story that updated the work at New Haven's Whitney Avenue and Audubon street incorrectly noted that Doug Hausladen was an alder when he did the Complete Streets application. Hausladen later became an alder.

Incorrect hometown for suspect

The headline for a story about a man arrested for an alleged domestic dispute incorrectly said that he is from West Haven. He is Bridgeport and was arrested there in connection with the incident, which allegedly happened in West Haven.
