When the number of 0s make a big difference


A story in Wednesday's New Haven Register misstated the number of fatalities on Connecticut's rural roads. It is 3.79 per 100 million miles, not 3.79 per 100,000.

A story in the Wednesday edition of the Register misspelled the last name of East Haven Board of Education member Louis Pacelli.

Correction

In a May 5 story about an O&G worker dying in a construction accident in New Haven, the number of workers killed in the 2010 Kleen Energy explosion in Middletown should have been six, not five. One worker died afterward as a result of the accident.

First name spelled incorrectly

The first name of Tirrell Drew was misspelled in stories May 6 and May 4 about the homicide trial of Ricardo Myers, who is accused of shooting Drew to death in 2013.
