Descriptions and dates

In a story in Saturday’s Register about a lawsuit over Vincent Van Gogh's "The Night Cafe," the phrase that Yale University “stands in the shoes of a thief” referred to its relationship to art dealer Stephen Clark, not to the Russian government.

  • A story in Monday’s Register about  the meeting for the East Rock Community Management Team discussion of a proposal by Verizon to put a small cell transmitter on a utility pole on Mitchell Drive incorrectly reported the date. The meeting is at 7 p.m.  Oct. 26 at the East Rock Community Magnet School, 166 Nash St.
