Settlement clarified
Correction: Earlier
versions of a
stories on Boris Mizhen of Guilford did not make clear that Mizhen was not required to pay the full $32.7 million judgment in a case involving the state Attorney General's Office and the Federal Trade Commission. The judgment was suspended. His spouse, Angelina Strano, was named only as a “relief defendant.” She was not accused of wrongdoing.

Wrong number for charity group
Helping Hands Thrift Store and Furniture Bank after a three-alarm fire Sunday ravaged its warehouse in West Haven.
A story about the fire misstated the number people can call to schedule a pickup of large items, such as furniture. The correct number is

Price check on upcoming trip
A brief published in Friday's paper incorrectly listed the price for a Rhine River cruise sponsored by the Seymour Recreation Department. It said rates for a couple started at $3,799, but that is per person. The department says all available spots have now been filled.
