Reading the wrong
A recent story about R.J. Julia Booksellers owner Roxanne Coady announcing she plans to sell R.J. Julia Booksellers incorrectly reported the status of Read to Grow, of which Coady is chairwoman.
Read to Grow is a non profit organization that partners with hospitals "to provide new books and literacy information to all families on maternity units to promote early literacy, currently in 11 hospitals and serving 53 percent of all Connecticut births."
In a statement, Read to Grow also said, "Through a separate program, Read to Grow provides gently used books to children who need them anywhere in the state."
